Re: PS2.NET announced

BEFORE REPLYING TO ME, PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE THING! Just an update that I am no longer with MintCookie Games as the marketing man. :)) Whatever, I have another job lined up anyways, so its no big deal. Regardless, I wanted to apologize for what was said and what happened. I truly did not mean to d...

Re: PS2.NET announced

I admit I may have been told some things that weren't correct and I am sorry: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1543285362634902&id=1493169710979801 How embarrassing. :-[ I kind of don't want to work there anymore. Also, to Fog, I really wasn't trying to obtain OBSRV code. At all...

Re: PS2.NET announced

Hello, RHY3756547 from FreeSO here. This was originally posted on our forums, and raised some controversy due to some unusual technical remarks, a claim of a DCMA to a private project , and a rather suspicious set of circumstances where they apparently cannot post any proof at all. http://forum.fre...

Re: PS2.NET announced

... Hey, this is awesome, OP posted this on SaveMGO too. I'm really impressed that someone has been tackling this sort of stuff. I'd be more than willing to let you guys host MGO1, since MrGame already released source for it: https://github.com/curi0us/mgops . It's certainly not... using the best p...

Re: PS2.NET announced

Do so. :) TS-Bustin Out was great. I used to play it all the time online back then. I'm extremely happy to be apart of the process to bring it back online. :) Now as a general thing: If anyone has any backed up packets, source codes, network files, etc, etc, etc, for any PS2 online game, let me kno...

Re: PS2.NET announced

I don't think making completely new scenarios on OB is possible. It'd be a living nightmare to guess-work the game's source-code and make something based on that.
Which is a shame. One day though, maybe.

Re: PS2.NET announced

Oh, so technically texture packs on console would be a one of these DLCs ?
That'd be really cool
Thats our plan. :D

We want to make it as legit of a PSN/XBL style service as possible.

Re: PS2.NET announced

"Custom fan DLC" ?? Like... extra scenarios or anything ? Oh my god that's so AWESOME ! What an achievement though ! Nice work ! Essentially, by fan DLC, it would be like how Super Mario Bros 3 can have hacks injected into the rom for new levels, costumes, pallets, etc. A better example, ...

Re: PS2.NET announced

As for it supporting Outbreak, its up to the admins here. I would need the packets and code they have on their servers and I don't think they want to release it. (I don't blame them though, they don't want to fracture the community or release owned assets). Yeah, that's not going to happen. I'll ha...

Re: PS2.NET announced

This is my teams project, but due to some bad apples over at another forum I am not ready to reveal anything else right now. In all of a short 24 hours one of our team members actually released some of the code on said forum and now our project is compromised. As for it supporting Outbreak, its up t...

We are in safe hands, by the way can you stop harassing my posts. I will report you if you keep harassing my threads, thank you. How im attacking people on the...

Re: DNAS is offline (Update: Works for now)

Once DNAS is gone for good and we start requiring the DNAS bypass to play, there should be some kind of security measure to prevent non legit owners from playing. Like, maybe, on registration for the board require the player to answer a password on registration that asks for the "PDSS" co...

Re: DNAS is offline (Update: Works for now)

People should keep in mind that this is a private, fan-made forum. Vanilla is barely an option. I'm surprised it was a choice for so long. There are other methods for those who still wanna play. If people who have a vanilla PS2 and disc don't learn to adapt, then they'll be left out. Natural select...

Re: DNAS is offline (Update: Works for now)

Alot of us have already patched our games anyway. The well known translation patch for Biohazard Outbreak File 1/2 contains the patch already built in last I knew. This patch is the one we would all need in this case which completely bypasses DNAS, essentially eliminating the need for the security c...

Re: (RUMOR) Resident evil outbreak and Resident evil 6 remaster in development

You should buy it used. If you support the re releases of 5 and 6 it doesn't help the cause of trying to get survival horror back to the series. :P
Nope.
Evil! ;)
