Re: Resident Evil 3 Remake Megathread (Spoilers/Leaks Ahead)

I found another link to potentially the same guy but from December 6th. The info he mentions is conflicting with the other one's statements, but some elements are the same. This may very well be a fake leak.

Re: Resident Evil 3 Remake Megathread (Spoilers/Leaks Ahead)

It destroys it's CNS so mainly the spinal cord, and the frontal lobe specifically. Either way, the point is no brain was removed. Your medulla oblongata controls your involuntary actions like heartbeat and breathing. It's located in the brain stem, so if his brain fell off it might have a chance at ...

Re: Resident Evil 3 Remake Megathread (Spoilers/Leaks Ahead)

Then, the parasite "NE-α Type" was developed--- known as Nemesis. When this was transplanted into the spinal cord of a Bio Organic Weapon at a cellular level, it would absorb the internal T-Virus cells and grow, then form a unique brain near the medulla oblongata. At the same time, it erodes the ce...

Re: Resident Evil 3 Remake Megathread (Spoilers/Leaks Ahead)

Nemesis still has his brain in RE3, though. How he has it even after losing his head in the acid disposal room, I couldn't tell you. But according to the citationless wiki, it acts as a secondary brain, hijacking the brain stem. They didn't remove his brain. And don't worry, /v/ will change its tune...

Re: Resident Evil 3 Remake Megathread (Spoilers/Leaks Ahead)

So while browsing /v/ a couple of days ago, I noticed someone posting "leaks" about playtesting RE3 about 4 months ago or so. I didn't take much notice of it because I didn't want to spoil myself and I thought it would just be fake. Today I caved and looked back at it and it's rather detailed. It in...

Re: Resident Evil 3 Remake Megathread (Spoilers Ahead)

Except RE4 uses tank controls. ;)
My theory is that the metal pipes are actually shielding the parasite, and that we won't see the extra tentacles until his first mutation.

Re: Capcom requesting testers for another unannounced title via RE Ambassadors.

Heads up, if you're interested in this program, it's required you connect some sort of social media account and basically asks for complete control of it. Proof: https://i.imgur.com/9U2as34.png So basically, if you want to be a corporate shill with zero of the pay, you get to playtest games for them...

I can only imagine it will now be the size of an actual hospital, or a smaller one.

Resident Evil 3 Remake Megathread (Spoilers/Leaks Ahead)

As mentioned in the previous thread, Resident Evil 3 remake was leaked on the Playstation Network early. The game wasn't officially announced until the Playstation Nintendo Direct where it was revealed that Project Resistance, now Resident Evil Resistance would be bundled with RE3make and will relea...

Re: Resident Evil 3 Remake Key Art Leaked on PSN

I thought the backtracking in RE2make was good enough and I've logged 140+ hours into it. Making the city a labyrinth makes it interesting. If all Claire had to do was walk down the street to get to the orphanage, that's boring as fuck. Yeah we all joke about how RE makes no sense, but no one called...

Re: Resident Evil 3 Remake Key Art Leaked on PSN

As for my hopes, I hope that the game is not a backtrack-a-thon like RE2, rather, much more of a journey like RE4-6. Hard nope from me. The backtracking in RE2make was pretty manageable. I pray they DON'T make it linear, because linearity is a great way to kill replay-ability, especially for a game...
